The Tribute Award was established by District VII in 1985 to recognize members who have maintained the highest standards of professionalism in their advancement careers and shared their expertise with members of the profession. Click here for the 2007 Tribute Award winner, Deborah Mandabach.

The deadline for nominations for the Tribute Award is Friday, August 22, 2008. The person selected will be honored and must be present to receive the award.

The criteria for nominations is:

  • Ten years in the advancement profession with five years in District VII
  • A demonstrated and consistently high level of professional achievement
  • Exceptional mentoring and volunteer activities
  • Strong affiliation with CASE/NAIS

To nominate a colleague, please send a vita and exactly three letters of recommendation for each nominee (one must be from outside his or her institution). Letters should address the nominee's professional achievements and demonstrate his/her service to the profession in such ways as mentoring, teaching, providing opportunities for professional advancement among employees, volunteer service to CASE and/or NAIS at the district and/or national level, and other volunteer activities.
